With a strong presence in Italy and now part of a leading European organization, the company combines entrepreneurial agility with international structure, offering a dynamic and evolving environment, with an important pipeline of acquisitions and integrations in a short term.

Role
 
The role will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s growth and transformation, acting as a strategic partner to the Italian CEO and the Group CFO in the h.q. abroad. The role will implement controlling and reporting processes, overseeing all financial, accounting and fiscal activities across the Italian entities, ensuring alignment with Group standards and driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities:
  • Define and implement the financial strategy of the Italian operations in line with Group guidelines;
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and management control processes;
  • Oversee accounting, cash flow, taxation, treasury, and credit management;
  • Ensure timely and accurate quarterly reporting and financial consolidation;
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, consultants, and tax authorities;
  • Support M&A activities and post-merger integration processes;
  • Align financial systems, processes, and governance with Group standards;
  • Ensure compliance, internal control systems, and effective risk management;
  • Lead and develop the finance team;
  • Act as a key business partner, providing ad-hoc financial analysis and insights;
  • Support financing activities and capital structure management.

Key Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting, controlling, and corporate finance
  • 10–15 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in complex or fast-growing organizations;
  • Proven experience in building and strengthening finance functions (processes, systems, governance, teams);
  • Solid background in M&A, financial due diligence, and post-merger integration;
  • Experience in industrial or regulated environments is a plus;
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to operate in both entrepreneurial and international environments;
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, operational approach;
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders and headquarters;
  • Fluent command of English.
