Our Client is a leading Company of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

Role
 
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Sales and Marketing, oversees the P&L of the main business line that is the core business of the Company. The Director of Sales manages and leads the pre-sales and sales force, together with the agents’ and dealers’ network. The person addresses the marketing communication activities, contributing to improve and expand company’s brand awareness. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives while building and maintaining a high-performing team.


Specific responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets;
  • Increase the international exposure of the company, building an international service-centre network and eventually set-up a direct presence of the company outside Italy;
  • Together with CEO be part of the M&A team, explore adds-on opportunities, oversee business due diligences and actively leading the post-merge integration;
  • Create top-line budgets and communicate sales goals and ensure salesforce is informed on the progress of those goals;
  • Create and implement a tailor-made incentive system for sales team and presales team;
  • Promote and develop product knowledge and training of the sales team;
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with key customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs;
  • Plan and oversee the marketing communication activities, exhibitions, events and lead generation programs. Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.

 

Key Qualifications
 
  • 5+ years of experience in managing sales teams of complex industrial capital goods/systems;
  • Degree in Business Administration or Engineering;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the HVAC market would be a plus;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Leadership, charisma, excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills;
  • High degree of initiative;
  • Excellent ability to analyze and evaluate business opportunities, strategic thinking, entrepreneurial spirit and strong market orientation.
