Role
 
The candidate, reporting to the Group CEO, will be responsible for profitably growing the US business to its full potential, while ensuring organizational excellence and alignment with the strategic direction of the Company Headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES
 
  • Hold overall responsibility for the Company’s business and reputation in the US.
  • Supervise and manage the entire US organization through direct reports.
  • Provide HQ with timely reporting on business performance, market and competitive scenarios, opportunities, and risks, supporting key decision-making and implementation.
  • Oversee and guide all US team activities (sales, marketing, finance, logistics and distribution).
  • Ensure customer services are delivered in compliance with professional and company standards.
  • Manage HR activities, including identifying organizational gaps, screening CVs, conducting interviews, and coordinating training.
  • Plan, direct, and execute the US sales strategy (volumes, revenues, profitability) in alignment with HQ’s strategic guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, brokers, and other stakeholders (e.g., regulatory agencies, industry associations), representing the Company’s values and interests in the US.
  • Lead and support sales staff operations from annual business planning and budgeting to daily/weekly routines, including coaching, training, and participation in top-to-top customer meetings.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8–15 years of relevant experience
  • Strong background and knowledge of the US Food & Beverage market
  • Fluency in Italian (preferable)
  • Proven ability to inspire, lead, and develop a team
  • Strong strategic vision and long-term planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management
  • Strong market orientation with an innovative mindset
  • High sense of responsibility and accountability
